Vice President – Software Architect & Development

Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

• Assure that customers receive a quality, supported product
• In conjunction with the VP-Communications establish and maintain policies and procedures related to the scope of duties
• Identify, acquire, and implement tools and methods to support the scope of duties
• In conjunction with the CFO, manage vendors that support software development       
• In conjunction with the Vice-President – Compliance, Security and Risk Management, take warranted action as directed
• May work virtually

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Application Development

• Manage the development of all  external products and internal custom applications
• Coordinate with the Vice President – Sales and Marketing to manage requirements
• Coordinate with the Vice President – Product Assurance to achieve effective change management
• Conduct appropriate configuration management of software products
• Coordinate with the Vice President – Product Assurance  to manage issues identified in the quality process
• Coordinate with the Vice President – Product Assurance  to manage problems identified in the production
• Maintain Client Portals
• Customize Support Apps, as required; including creating interfaces and reporting from off-the-shelf products
• Develop Retail Front End
• Coordinate with the Vice President – Product Assurance  to produce product documentation

Client Support         

• Coordinate with the Vice President – Client and Partner Engagement to provide technical expertise to clients and partners, as required   

Requisite Education/Experience:

• Minimum of fifteen years’ experience in software development management
• Bachelor’s degree (technical degree a plus)
• Fluent English (bi-lingual Spanish a plus)
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in PROJECT
